Peace is one of the greatest values that Islam calls for; it is the foundation of security and stability among people. Allah says:
“And Allah invites ˹all˺ to the Home of Peace and guides whoever He wills to the Straight Path.” (10:25) 
When peace prevails, tranquillity spreads, and people live in safety regarding themselves, their wealth and their lands. As Allah also says:
“It is ˹only˺ those who are faithful and do not tarnish their faith with falsehood who are guaranteed security and are ˹rightly˺ guided.” (6:82) 
Thus, peace is not merely the absence of war, but a path to security, mercy, cooperation among humans — and through it the good life that Allah intended for His servants is realised.
